ROMANS 10:13

what does it mean?

If you call upon the name of the Lord...you will be saved.​​

Saved from what? From hell? Yes...hell is the place God made to punish the devil, but those who refuse to obey God and side with the devil are sent there as well.

​

What is the name of the Lord? It. Is. Jesus. Just four verses earlier it says, "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

So just call and I am saved? That seems way too simple, there must be more to it than that right?

Actually...not only is it true, but there is no other way! We are so bound up in sin that there is nothing that we can do but call for help! It is the only way that you can be saved from hell.

​​

so what do i do?

Do you believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead?

 

Do you believe that Jesus is God...the one true God? The Lord and king of heaven and earth?

​

Do you believe that He will take your sins if you simply call on His name?

​

Are you willing to give your life to Jesus?

​

If you do...then simply call out to Jesus, know that He will hear you, and ask Him to save you...And. He. will.

​
