1    Hope    4    Life

what if it were true that the god who made you...
died
for
you?

"I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly"

- Jesus
true love...

God loves you, not because of what you can give Him, but just because He does. He wants you to be happy; He wants you to be calm; He wants you to be healed. He knows the best way to make these things happen, but you need to trust Him and follow Him in order for Him to help you. In the Bible a writer says to God "How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand." Psalm 139:17

true justice...

God is just and fair. He knows everything you think, say, or do. A single wrong deed will result in you being condemned when you face God after death. God doesn't do this because He hates you, He loves you. God does it because a good judge must punish wrong. God made you, He holds your life in His hands, if you do Him wrong then He must punish you. If He does not then He would be a God that allowed injustice in the end. God says, "It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment." Hebrews 9:27

true Hope...

You will not meet God's standard when He judges you, but there is hope. God in His love has made a way that He can be just and yet you not be punished for your wrongdoings. A volunteer has stepped forward who has offered to pay the punishment for your sins. The volunteer is God Himself. God became a man named Jesus who lived a life of perfection, and then voluntarily paid for the sins of all who would trust in Him. Jesus is your true hope. "For our sake he made Him [Jesus] to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God" 2 Corinthians 5:21

true life...

If you were successful and got everything you wanted in life, but then died...what would be the point? What good would it do you? You would go stand before God to be judged and all your life here would be forgotten in an instant - regretted for eternity. True life is life that never ends and is not pointless. Though Jesus died, He rose again from the dead and His life continued. Nothing that He did was pointless. True for Christians as well, they will be raised from the dead on the final day and go on living, they have a life that can never die. This is true life and is only possible in Jesus, the one who said, "I am come that they may have life." Jesus said, "am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die." John 11:25.

so what do i do?

You cannot do anything yourself to be saved from God's judgement. Salvation is a gift. Jesus voluntarily takes your punishment on Himself - there is never anything you could do to deserve a sacrifice like that. But God will give this gift to those who believe in Him. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved!" Romans 10:9. Will you trust that Jesus is the Son of God who came to pay for your sins, that He is alive again and in heaven, and that unless you trust Him you will die in your sins? Jesus said, "unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins." John 8:24.

We plead with you on behalf of God - do not choose to ignore God's offer of heaven. If you do ignore it, Jesus says, "Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." John 3:18.

If you decide to trust in God then invite Him into your life with a simple prayer. Speak to God and know that he will hear you, no matter where you are or what you are doing. Confess to Him and receive him as your Lord and Savior. Then, reach out and tell us. We can get you a Bible and help you with the next steps.
